Dear All,
The Foundation for Cardiovascular Research (FCR) was established in 2005 with a vision to promote regional cardiovascular research and support conferences.
The Foundation operates with several important aims. The first is to raise the levels of research and treatments relevant to cardiovascular disease to world-class standards through local and international academic exchange. Secondly, for the ongoing development of an industrial-academic cooperation model for biomedical research support in preparation for our rapidly ageing society. Thirdly, to identify and nurture qualified clinicians and basic scientists within the region, and proactively foster support for the development of national and regional healthcare policies.
The Foundation now contributes to the improvement of national health standards and balanced regional development. Various initiatives are undertaken on a regular basis, including regional and international research projects involving short and long-term visitation programs, as well as attendance at cardiovascular meetings and conferences. The Foundation is also strongly committed to supporting for student research activities.
